Ben Ginsberg

BENJAMIN J. GINSBERG, Consultant, brings more than a dozen years experience working with nonprofit organizations, including serving as senior executive of a city business development organization. While he has expertise in economic development, community outreach, zoning and government relations, he has directed strategic planning, marketing, fundraising, budgeting and outreach efforts. As a trained city planner and attorney, Mr. Ginsberg provides EHL Consulting’s clients with a unique approach to project management, problem solving, constituent development, and a focus on planned giving. ROBERT H. ISAACS, Senior Consultant and Chief Financial Officer, spent 17 years as an executive of various prestigious Jewish congregations, where his responsibilities included finance, business, strategic and long range planning as well as annual, capital and endowment campaigning. Previously, he held senior management positions with community centers and higher education. Mr. Isaacs has been a frequent and sought-after presenter at national conventions, focusing especially on contemporary approaches impacting on and relating to fundraising, budget management, working with outside contractors, building staff teams, and ethics in the workplace. Karen Kamens

KAREN MOSES KAMENS, Director of Special Projects, has a broad range of professional experiences within various nonprofit educational, research, and community health organizations over the past 25 years. A graduate of Emory University, she has served in a variety of volunteer and leadership positions for the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia, and is actively involved with several local nonprofit educational and community organizations. Ross Kasper

ROSS KASPER, Consultant, has honed his expertise in operations, social media marketing, and strategy, helping create innovative online campaigns and building new strategic partnerships for a number of nonprofit organizations. Ross spoke on the steps of the US Capitol at a national rally on behalf of marriage equality. His interests include following Philadelphia’s sports teams, LGBT issues, and coaching youth baseball.

Bonni Kraus

BONNI KRAUS, Office Manager, brings a highly motivated spirit, knowledge of efficient and contemporary management systems, and vast professional experience to our team. She previously worked in Jewish educational and nonprofit institutions for more than 18 years. A graduate of The City University of New York, her areas of expertise include website management, communications, graphic design, copy-editing, Jewish educational resources, and Holocaust education. JOANN MILLER, Client Services Representative, has a background that includes customer service in the pharmaceutical field as well as being involved with Jewish education for more than 15 years, first volunteering then working at a local Jewish day school. Her areas of expertise include customer relations and problem resolution. Her interests include reading and gardening. She received her B.A. from Penn State University.

BRYAN SCHWARTZMAN, Manager of Marketing and Communications, Bryan came to EHL Consulting after spending more than a dozen years as a newspaper reporter, including a decade at Philadelphia’s Jewish Exponent. He has interviewed national and international leaders including Barack Obama, Rick Santorum, and Ehud Barak; covered countless major news stories such as the recovery in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina; and has written extensively about how Jewish organizations and other nonprofits have responded to shifting demographic and economic realities. Bryan is a native New Yorker and graduate of the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and the Jewish Theological Seminary. He is an avid tennis player and lover of good literature and music. Esther Wiesner

ESTHER R. WIESNER, Consultant, brings years of experience in strategic planning, leadership development, and grant writing, skills which come into play with each client project. Prior to joining EHL Consulting, she spent a decade in the field of community economic development in the Philadelphia region. She uses her knowledge to benefit the wider world of nonprofits. Esther has guided numerous social service clients and faith-based organizations in developing compelling cases for support and helping them to gain access to major philanthropic groups and individuals. She is an expert at translating a client’s technical operations into compelling and easy-to-understand “selling propositions” for a wide audience. Esther looks forward to continuing the relationships she has developed with the firm’s clients over the years and contributing to the advancement of the nonprofit sector for years to come. STEPHEN G. DONSHIK, Consultants, Ltd., provides services that strengthen nonprofit organizations and especially volunteer leadership. He has served many prominent nonprofits in the U.S. and in Israel for more than 40 years, including as the executive director of a large family service agency in Connecticut and as a faculty member at Yeshiva University’s School of Social Work. In Israel, he has directed both the Israel Office of the Council of Jewish Federations and the Israel Office of the UJA-Federation of New York.
