J. LANSING SYLVIA, Director of Communications, joined the EHL Consulting team after working as a development and marketing professional in a variety of Philadelphia-based arts, culture, and youth education nonprofit organizations. Her areas of expertise include social media marketing, fund development, grant writing, and community outreach. Before receiving her M.S. in Leadership for Social Change from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Social Policy and Practice, she completed an AmeriCorps Year of Service in Providence, Rhode Island where she was an instructor at an innovative charter school. Previous to that, she graduated summa cum laude from Rutgers University and worked at an Indian NGO in New Delhi. An active supporter of the arts in Philadelphia, she sits on the Board for the Charlotte Cushman Foundation.
